How to tell what a welcome bonus is worth
A 100% match turns a ₱5,000 deposit into ₱10,000 to play with, but the bonus half stays locked until you have bet it a set number of times. That multiple, the wagering, decides almost all of the value.
A worked number: a ₱5,000 bonus at 35x means ₱175,000 in bets before you can cash out. On a slot with 96% RTP those bets cost about ₱7,000 on average, more than the bonus is worth.
Which one to pick
- You want to try a casino before paying in: a no deposit offer, accepting the withdrawal cap.
- You mostly play slots: free spins on a slot you would play anyway.
- You play live baccarat or roulette: skip match bonuses, since table games count for little or nothing towards wagering, and look for cashback.
- You want to keep it simple: decline the bonus. Your deposit is then cash you can withdraw at any time.
The catches
- Time limits: most bonuses expire within 7 to 30 days, wagering included.
- Game limits: some slots, jackpots and most table games are excluded or count only in part.
- Max bet: a rule such as ₱250 per spin while the bonus is active; one bigger bet can void the bonus.
- Payment limits: some casinos exclude certain e-wallets from bonus deposits.
